Sangerfest Medal Awards

The 2006 Sangerfest Medals will be awarded as a part of the Parade of Choruses concert on Thursday evening, June the 29th. The awards program has usually been a part of the Friday evening banquet event. However, we will have a different program format for this year's Friday evening "INFORMAL BANQUET" thus the reason for the change.

This year, NSAA officers will present medals to each chorus' awardees as their choir enters to sing their two selections in the Parade of Choruses. Award recipients from each choir will be photographed in the hall directly behind the stage after their choir exits.

On Saturday evening, before the Grand Concert, all medal recipients should again assemble in the CFL Recital Hall for group photographs (e.g. Bronze, Silver, etc.). Also, first time Sangerfest attendees and past recipients of the gold with diamond medals, as well as newly elected NSAA and Veterans Chorus officers should come to the CFL Recital Hall for photographs. The time schedule for this picture taking session is printed in the Sangerfest schedule. The group photograph of the entire Grand Concert Choir will be taken at 6:45 pm in the CFL Concert Hall. Please be punctual for all pictures.
